delicious. another deep fried pork belly filipino "stew" that tastes good is crispy dinuguan.

i guess common filipino food is overly salted because a tablespoon or so of viand is supposed to flavor a mountain of bland white rice.

i'm generally not a white rice eater so i appreciate when entrées can be eaten comfortably by themselves.

if you can find home made malabon bagoong then i think this would have been even better. the bottled supermarket kind aren't really that good compared to. your dish still looks killer otherwise.

again... written so well, i can actually smell the dish as I read the post! i am sure the dish (gads, i love pork - particularly if its lechon, lechon kawali, basta crispy pork!)tastes as scrumptious as the way you wrote about it!
